Description

SG-2000T is a polyolefin wax paste dispersion based on toluene. It is designed for the improvement of the mechanical resistance by increasing the hardness or slip effect on the surface. On requirements from customers, we casn supply SG-2000T based on xylene.

Incorporation

High shear conditions and heat are both required for the proper dispersion and activation of SG-2000T. Rapid dispersion can be achieved with conventional dispersion devices such as high shear sand, pebble and roller mills. We recommend that dispersion temperature should be increased to minimum 45°C for achieving the maximum efficiency.

Recommended Level

The typical addition level will vary depending on the type of coating formulations and required degree of anti-blocking & slip effect. Recommended amount is 3~6% based on total formulation weight.

Storage

SG-2000T should be stored in the tightly closed original container in a cool and dry place at 5 ~ 30°C. Avoid exposure to heat source and direct sunlight. Under recommended storage condition, SG-2000T may be stored up to 6 months.
